The Photography forum on here isnt for the Pros, its for the amatures. TBH the only real pro we have on here is Eagle. Im definitely not professional and I doubt if many others would consider themselves as such.
The idea is creative advice and help, rather than judging how good or bad a photo is. Even if the only camera you have is attached to your phone.
Theyre actually quite good, hope you didnt try and put her out with the normal rubbish :mrgreen:

The 2nd pic was created, its a pro no no, never get eye contact, I drew Krystals attention to look away, I used a clicker by my ear, so her eyes didnt go to far, I still have the clicker. I used ilford 200 Bw on my Minolta I 900, F 5.6, on a 70mm lens, I prefer-ed film.
Happy snaps are my favourite kinda pics.
My collection of day outers and hey look at me, Im pissed again shots will be of far more value to me than anything commercial Ive ever done. :)

Depends, if you are using flash then its better not to have the kid looking at the camera because of the red eye. It also can make the nose look strange.
However, there are pictures that are best involving a subject looking directly at the camera, and these can pay off.
Would say its a general rule rather than a steadfast law of photography, and then only with pros photographing kids. Mind that usually applies to all of these things. Try something yourself and if it works for you ignore everyone else. Getting a good pic with eye contact can be amazing.
One being of someone looking over a fence, just head and fingers visible.
First pic is crap ... but cute too!

I dont know why I remember lighting, the eyes give away what was used, some shoots are in broad daylight but reflect two lights, its very common in films.
