Quite interesting article I came across whilst blog-hopping.

Wonder if the numbers hold true for this place  :?:
"Within your 'purview'? Where do you think you are, some f**king regency costume drama? This is a government department, not some f**king Jane f**king Austen novel!"

Id say its pretty spot on, or at least was in the halcyon days.

These days its probably more 84-15-1 or something.

Amazon reviewers...the most prolific reviewer had written 12,423 reviews.

My mind is boggling
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Crazy Shiznit

At a conservative 100 words per review given the way regular reviewers on Amazon tend to pontificate, thats enough words for about 10 long novels  :?

Mongoose

sounds about right

ahhh the days when I was one of the 1%, when Sam owned Tekheads and most of the rest of the 1% worked there.

Those were the days.

That means the 1% is me and maxi...  :/

I really dont think the 1% rule applies here though.

QuoteThere are about 1.1 billion Internet users, yet only 55 million users (5%) have weblogs according to Technorati. Worse, there are only 1.6 million postings per day; because some people post multiple times per day, only 0.1% of users post daily.

Thats a bad thing? 99.9999% of the blogs out there are inane drivel of interest to virtually no-one. The last thing the internet needs is to have everyone on it blogging :P

not 1% no, that would be 2.8 people these days. Probably not much more than 5% though.

Just 9 posters have more than 1000 posts or just over 3%. OTOH there are loads of people with under 10 posts or no posts at all.
