Sod the ruined work relationship, people work so that they can have relationships, or at least, thats the way I see it. You work to pay your bills and save to be able to do other things, which includes the whole socialising thing...

Luckily I dont have one :D Living with my brother in a joint owned house and not having an expensive female to upkeep means that I do reasonably well on the sick money I get.

The other side is lots of pain instead, but I live with that.
