I posted the Ã,£1 mystery on my WoW Guild forum and they went mad for it. Ive posted a few I know, and I was wondering if you lot knew any more?
What are you on about ?
*scratches head*
Someone posted the following :
Quote3 Men go into a hotel and ask for a room. THe receptionist charges them Ã,£30 (Ã,£10 each), and they go up. After theyve gone, the receptionist realises shes over charged them, and it should have been Ã,£25.
She is a bit short of cash, so she decides to give the men Ã,£3 back (Ã,£1 each) and keep the remaining Ã,£2 herself.
That means that instead of Ã,£10, each man paid Ã,£9.
If you multiply Ã,£9 by 3, you get Ã,£27, which means there should be Ã,£3 left over, not Ã,£2.
Where did the remaining Ã,£1 go??
I was just wondering if anyone knew any other puzzles like this?
Each man paid Ã,£30, but got Ã,£1 back each, so yes they paid Ã,£9 each, but that Ã,£9 includes the 2 that the receptionist kept, so 3x9=27, plus the pound each they got back = Ã,£30. Puzzle solved.
lol I know the answer, what I wanted were other puzzled like that one.
ahh right I see :)

They switch the lights on to go through tunnels, you dont want people falling over each other, injuring themselves and claiming damages

Information supplied doesnt say hes in scuba gear, so a big clip around the ear to them for that. If he was then he wouldnt drown just by running out of air, he would suffocate, another clip. Fire bombing planes have grids over their intakes to prevent ingress of large objects so he could never have been picked up anyway. People with allergies can have their lungs fill up with fluid and they drown that way so there is no need for the impossible solution provided anyway. Doesnt say the forest was burned either, it isnt the same as just dead.

Incredibly overdone and there are plenty of other possible solutions too, a simple non explosive gas leak poisoning them, for instance.
