I thought this sounded like a good question to ask wolfram alpha, unfortunately its still too much of a retard to do anything apart from tell you what is in lager

It could be you know. It is a lightweight bear and easy to drink and drink a lot of. While you enjoy another type of beer someone could have 3/4 fosters.
The Australians and to some extent Kiwis think they are really bad ass drinkers but the beer is relatively week, a Heineken is not a proper one and the OZ folk drink a lot of fasters and a lot of their BBQ Drinks are stubbies or small bottles.
But yeah, I can see sense in those stats, probably not 100% but all the youth, yeah I can see that.
I remember hearing somewhere, not sure where, and dunno if it was true, that in the armed services in international forces, some of the countries dont like them to drink with the british as they arent used to the strength of the drinks?

Yer I did have a few laughs going out with in OZ. Best was during schoolies week with all these 18 year old schoolies out every night and they love challenging the backpackers to drinking contests (and pay for your drinks all night in the process).
They drink alot of 3-4% beers in smaller scooners, Its amusing :)
tell em to get some special brew down em, or tennants super
Im really bored of normal beer. I used to drink 1664.
Ive gone for either white beer now or I do like Timmermans.
Kroney Blanc is very tasty too
If im getting drunk I might as well enjoy the taste.
1664 is my favourite but you cant get it here.

Thats a Yank thing. Theyre not banned from
drinking with British troops - just fighting with them as they invariably lose.

Check the actual strength of the stuff most Brits drink and it will be in the area of 3-5%

As you know I love a good wiessbier, but I definitely couldnt afford to go exclusive to it right now. I like variety though. A lot of places dont have it on tap either, disappointingly.
Cant stand the stuff, yes I know saying that is sacrilege but it really is vile stuff, beer included. :puke:
Now Cider, that's a PROPER drink.

Well i havent seen any draught lager thats been below 4%, or for that matter many bottled lagers
whereas, ive heard on good authority that in the antipodes most beer is around 3.5-4%
not so sure about the US. youd have to ask Sam
Sweet, thanks for that guys :)
