Last weekend I ran the Ultimate Fitness 10km Mud Run with Leon. As some of you know I've been trying to lose weight and get fit for quite some time now and for me this was yet another stepping stone. My goal was simply to finish (which I did!) in however long it took. Leon is quite a bit fitter than me and so zoomed off and finished way ahead

Was absolutely great fun though, and excellent preparation for our attempt at Tough Mudder in July. We ran up and down super muddy hills, around a wet MX track (that was tough!) and then did a 2km wade/swim/fall over through what can really only be described as a swamp! Awesome!

Me and the missus were thinking of doing Tough Mudder in July, hmmm...

Well done though, that race looks super fun (and tiring!)

Ended up doing another 10KM Mud Run today locally. Bit last minute but we had such fun last week we thought we'd do it! Had obstacles this time and an awesome slide down a hill (on plastic sheets with fairy liquid haha!!) Great fun!
