Going out with some mates Friday night in Hoxton to celebrate some good news. Waking up with a hangover Saturday, veging out on the sofa watching the remainder of season 3 and 4 of Entourage which Ive recently gotten into (amazing show). As the latest episode focuses on them making a movie about Pablo Escobar, this reawakened my curiosity for the man so I spent a few hours reading about him online then watched Blow..... then had a curry and watched Oceans Thirteen.

The vegging continued today by waking up mid day and watching Serpico (forgotten what a stunning flick this is), then going to a BBQ in the rain... (which actually turned out to be a laugh)

All in all a nice relaxing weekend Nice to finally have one after the last 2 months or so of crap to do on the weekend plus the manic hours at work.

Shame its Sunday night Damn Mondays.


So what did you lot get up to this weekend?

Spent a lot of time meeting people who had bought stuff off me on ebay and then last night d/l demo of Forza 2. Loved it so went to Tesco this morning and bought it and played it all afternoon. Also fit in a lot of Red Dwarf. Good weekend all round!

Went cycling to Eiheiji, visited the temple there, some stunning scenery.

I have vegged, its been the first weekend in many Ive not been to London or at a gig, or a festival or some other event. Its good just to kick back and chill sometimes

Played golf Friday morning. Got very, very drunk Friday night. Had to walk 8 miles home from a club, got in about 5am Saturday.

Woke up at 2pm Saturday, feeling ropey. Did nothing, at all.

Out friday night, few mates, beers, chilled affair...

Woke up midday on Saturday, headed over to another mates house, more friends, more beers, watched tha Hatton fight, no sleep, left at about 2pm on Sunday.

Got home, picked my ice hockey kit up and then went down to the rink to watch the backend of an under 19s tournament. Trained.

Went home, had beans on toast. Slept.

Golf was close to that tbh. We had carts and it was lashing down, so we really played motorised polo

Got my exam results on sat morning, sat pondering life for a while.  Made obligatory phonecalls, then spent the rest of the day building a rev counter for an R6-engined racing car.  Sunday consisted of me moving boxes of stuff from various peoples uni rooms into cars/other rooms, which took from 8am until 6pm.  Had a few beers, ate a greek burger from the best fast food place in all of christendom, read Catch-22 and went to bed.

Bit of a quiet weekend really.  I should have been out getting battered, but almost all the undergrads here have gone home  :?

I spent Saturday morning recovering from May week (I thought my days of being at a ball until 2am and then being up and working at 9 were over, apparently not). Saturday afternoon a friend and I figured out a bulk film loader we picked up from ebay for peanuts, loaded and developed some old film and to our great surprise it worked. Mucho free film here we come.

Sunday I developed some digital photos I took at varsity frisbee a couple of weeks ago.

looking forward to next weekend when I am picking up a new(ish) car.

my weekend consisted of splitting up with my long term girlfriend after she came clean after she slept with another guy last week, followed by lots of confusing swings of emotion and whatnot.
