They definitely learned the lesson and will *never* do that sort of thing again, or otherwise break the law :)
Remember it could have been your train and just think of the delay you would have suffered getting home through these uncaring people getting themselves killed. Totally inconsiderate b*stards.
Ugh, I love graffiti I love art, I think a good piece of graffiti can really spice up a boring wall (not just random writing your name/vandalism).
I think these big companies with huge boring buildings should let kids pain on their walls, I would if it was good work they were doing (ive seen some amazing pieces).
You gotta be stupid to play around on train tracks though, no matter what youre doing.
oh & i dont condone illegal graffiti, every person has a right to have what they want how they want it, if they want a boring plain wall they should be allowed just that, but if it were my building..

Sounds accurate.
i agree with punk, there are some absolutely amazing graffiti artists around
unfortunately there are a load of talentless taggers who give a bad name to the rest of them.
I find vandalism tags confusing more than anything. I find myself staring at the logo or name and wondering what it is supposed be or mean (a tag) or who they are.

just as an aside
you may joke but tbh.. that is how lots of people feel with regards to the fairly frequent suicides on the tube
youll often get massive delays due to someone killing himself by jumping in front of a train
most peoples thoughts are along the lines of selfish twat
not only do they delay thousands of people but probably also traumatize for life the poor driver whos train they threw themselves in front of
Yeah its dead annoying, especially when its freezing cold. It happened to me in Liverpool or Birmingham and the guy on the tannoy was like the trains arent running right now cos some selfish twat is sat on a bridge threatening to jump. I didnt get to my hotel til midnight.
Suiciders are totally selfish, they cant be thinking of anything else but their own condition. If they do they end up not doing it.
Ive been there and it was too bloody close.

Agreed, theres a wall just off the metro system (between Felling and Gateshead Stadium for those in the area) that always has grafitti on it, well quite a few years ago someone put up a huge picture of Mickey Mouse in Fantasia, it was brilliant. Turned a boring wall into a piece of art, then some t**t painted over the top of it with there usual tags & vandalism.
Not sure whats there now cause I never use the metro anymore, but imo people should be allowed to spray pictures up like that, brightens the place up no end.
i would have pushed them.

That was good, but I havent been down there recently so I have no idea whats presently there.
Just writing your nick on isnt good though.
in my uni breaks I used to work for a surveying company. Did loads of abandoned buildings, most with some sort of graffiti on. Most of it was just the pointless tagging, but occasionally youd come across something really stunning.
I just remember gazing at one piece in the abandoned paper mill in Norwich (now saddly demolished along with the building it was in :() and thinking how increadibly sad it was that so few people would ever see it or even know it was there.
