Which is the cheaper option to run electric or gas oven ??

I cant say ive ever seen an "electric" oven. Ive seen electric hobs, and up until 2 months ago we had one at my parents house.

And Fan assisted ovens sure... but full electric?

Youve honestly never seen an oven that is heated by electric elements controlled by a thermostat? No naked flame?

Im buying new house and get the option of gas or electric. Not sure if we can have both yet, as in gas top electric oven.

Cook a lot and have an investment in non-ferrous cookware? Then gas everything is great and very affordable.

Dont really care about cooktop type, like easy cleaning: then get a smooth induction top and stainless cookware. If I had the room to install a proper wok pit stove, thats what Id get for simmering sauces and the like.

All gas ovens use electric ignition IIRC. Although someone is bound to still have an ancient gas ignition one *somewhere*
