amigas were great, had an A500 then my mates got newer ones with hard drives (A1600?) and my eyes were so green lol

Serious

You could always add on a hard drive to an amiga 500 though.

I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Quote from: maximusotterZip was the only option fifteen years ago. I hate them as well, but I do like the cart design. CDs should come in such cases. A CDRW in a protective cart that goes rectly into a slot in your computer would be the shiznit.

Would be nice but expensive.
When I bought my zip drive my fastes machine was a 286 10 Mhz LoL
and it was really hard to make the drive work with that it really needed
a 386. But 100 Mb was a lot compared to HDDs of that time.

nor the Iomega Benoulli Box, yet they still tried again with Zip, Jazz and now Rev.

Youd have thought theyd eventually get the message?

How much is a Rev ? 70Gb backup is not that bad :)

Mongoose

neither was 20MB when Bernoulli came out, or 100 when Zip arrived, 1GB for Jazz.......

I dont know how much the new one costs, only saw an add banner for it somewhere and thought "oh no, not again, when will they LEARN!?"

Edit: on Dabs they are ~Ã,£200 for the drive and Ã,£35 each for the disks.

and all other CD add-ons for consoles...

Alone in the dark, sewer shark, night trap etc. etc. - people didnt know what to do with CDs and while the data capacity to stream sh*te video was there, developers didnt have the power to use it or the experience to make it work in a game...

games like night trap were literally multiple choice games, where each choice showed a pre-set video... and people paid Ã,£40 for it!!!
Snatcher was cool thiugh

LoL, considering that you get a HDD 250Gb for around Ã,£50-60 that is to much.
