Decided to try the Pizza hut all you can eat for Ã,£3.99 at lunchtime and I found I certainly can eat a lot of the stuff, only problem is its after 8 and Im still not hungry so no dinner as yet :/

I can see how some people end up rediculously fat eating pizza with these deals and going large on burgers.

Problem being a good few other British favorite takeaways are even worse...

well I had fish and chips friday night & had a chinky tonight - Im also partial to some southern fried chicken now and again - though I do normally try to stick to just one unhealthy meal per week.

banning all you can eat would be a crime - half the fun is trying to ensure the establishment makes as little profit out of you as possible

Thats the whole point, you stuff yourself full of pizza out of some decision that you have a god given mission to get as much value for your dosh as possible and we end up with a country full of fatsos who then die of colesterol poisoning...

Still not as bad as kebabs though, its probably preferable to eat dog food than that,  although I cant see people giving them up in a hurry disoite the ruccish they contain...

If people want to shove themselves full of crap then its their decision. I know lots of people who eat prodigous amounts of junk food and never turn into "fatsos" as you so eloquently phrased it, and people whom you might turn "fatsos" who dont really eat takeaway or all you can eat food. Cholesterol admittedly is a different issue; however the amount of debilitation varies greatly from person to person and no-one case is the same as any other, you of all people should appreciate that Serious.

The only logical way to be is pro-choice, anything else is plain silly.

Serious

Its not only the choice but the cost to society in the form of medical bills. You cant guarantee eating X is going to cause problems but you cant guarantee it isnt.

Pollution causes all sorts of medical bills due to respiratory problems; do you want to ban cars? Dairy products are linked to many forms of cancer. Do you want those off the shelves? Stress is acknowledged as causing umpteen medical complaints; how do you pose we deal with that, start rating jobs according to their stress level and do away with those deemed too high? The list goes on and on because most things can cause some form of damage to us. You say "you cant guarantee eating X is going to cause problems but you cant guarantee it isnt". You are simply proving my point; why blanket everyone with a ban initiated from the lofty hights of the moral high ground when it isnt even remotely close to being a sure thing. You cant actually guarantee you wont get run over by a bus next time you step outside your front door...by your logic why take the risk? Better to just ban people from leaving their houses.

And the end of the day everything makes you ill and everything is a risk, it really depends on how far you want to push this. Instead of banning things why not educate people to a higher standard so they know certain foods should only be eaten in moderation.

If your gonna ban pizza and all you cann eat then everything that is bad fpr you shouldbe banned aswell. Its just not gonna happen.
