Now Soopah, youre being a little bit unfair there. You can get the rate as low as 1575.6%, bargain!

In fairness they are very short term loans

25 per 100 though or something IIRC.
Complete scam.

They just had on the TV here of people loosing all their money because they not only joined a "new online bank" but stuck all their money in it. And of course, its fake!

Who on earth would go put all their money in a bank they have never heard of? I mean WTF?

cant believe they get away with this stuff

IIRC there is also some company selling electrical equipment on a hire purchase agreement with a silly APR - their re-payment solution is to fit a coin box mechanism to the power lead - chav has to stick in a quid a day otherwise he/she cant watch the trisha show.... Said chavs dont really notice the effect of sticking in a quid a day as opposed to paying some monthly fee etc... or rather they perhaps do in the long term however it does seem that TV  is such an important feature in a chavs life that theyll ensure they still stick a quid in the box.
