You do understand that it doesnt matter?  Im paying for a wedding this year, and im STILL expected to buy Valentines day pressies.

ummmm.. if it were a perfect world, absolutely nothing. Im not getting her a present though, if I can get the house free for a few hours Ill cook her a meal. If not, I guess Ill try and book up at a restaurant.. Even though everywhere will be full! She falls for all that soppy hallmark rubbish!

I shouldnt need a specific day of the year to tell her how much I love her!

In her case, think Pretty Shoes/Pretty Dress, and a cuddly puppy. Chocs are a no-no, and I buy flowers for her every week anyway!

Ive already okayed us both doing sod all.

She said she finds Valentines Day "awkward".

It was her idea!

I said what do you want to do and she said something like "well Im working, and I find it awkward. tbh it just means we have to be nicer to each other :mrgreen: "

Im not paying for anything anyway, I might make her something as Ive had an idea in my head..
