Eggtastico

ahh the guy who split his face open. Been doing the rounds for a few months.
He supposedly died after the operation.. do wonder how they managed to get footage
of him in hospital.

zpyder

Bloody hell.

That beats the guy with the jar any day ><

Hopefully this might put off just a couple of people from tombstoning, and as a result might actually save someone elses life!

Now I dont bloody want to eat the pizza I just put in the oven :(

DEViANCE

Saw that a while ago, thought it had been posted here.

I would have thought he died after that but someone in work recons theyve seen a vid of him with his face all sown up and alive.

zpyder

Ive seen thumbnails on various sites of similar kinds of things, but potentially murder victims and the likes. It worries me that there is obviously a growing audience for these kinds of things beyond just the shock factor.

Came up on FB but was quicly removed.

The act of "tombstoning" in its self can be very dangerous, but when you have a concrete ledge jutting out like in the video, you really have to wonder what kind of IQ these people have.

Why do you think growing? rotten.com was one of the most popular sites on the web in 1997.

It's all fun and games until a 200' robot dinosaur shows up and trashes Neo-Tokyo... Again.

I think growing based on the number of clones of Rotten.com now, as opposed to just a handful back then maybe.

Or maybe I just know of more of them, I dunno, but over the last few years certainly Ive been encountering more and more shocking stuff on the sites which used to be fairly mild. Some have gone to self inflicted mutilation to roadkill to people being beheaded. Thats a bit of a transition :(

Goblin

Rotten had gang killings, train track suicides and aborted foetuses 10 years ago.

I think weve just become grown ups :)

I find it a bit disturbing that some people go out of their way to find this stuff too. The worst one I ever chanced upon was someone being beaten literally to death, very slowly, with a giant hammer and a screwdriver. Since seeing that I try to avoid these things as its not good for the mind other than to remind you how precious life actually is. Like the guy on the train or this jumper. Accidents that so easily happened but could so easily have been avoided to. Its all very sad more than anything.
