Ive been depressed today so I called "Lifeline."

Got through to a call center in Pakistan.

I told them I was suicidal.

They got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck!

Hmmm, was quite concerned until I read the punch line.
 
H&J may be more suitable, but i guess it would loose its intended affect.

I think its something to do with suicide bombers

on a sidenote, many towns in NI still have bomb bays where the driver of a hijacked and bomb enabled van would be made to drive by the army/UDR/RUC if they found out it had a bomb onboard

The joke suggests because the call was answered from someone from pakistan that they were likley to be a terrorist.

Not strictly racist but certainly prejudiced.

And crap. Lets not forget how crap it was.

Best you can get is religionist against Muslims, dont think that counts yet, unless eggy goes visiting. Agree it was crap though.

Off topic but there was an article on the local news that they put six temporary signs onto the Tyne bridge advising people planning to suicide off it to phone the Samaritans. Seems this has worked to some extent in other countries.

not all pakistanis are terrorist, but most terrorists are pakistanis

Now that is racist, most terrorists may be Muslim, but they are by no way possible mostly from Pakistan.
