Quote from: soopahflyIts not like the old windows mobile way, HTC cant optimise roms to save their lifes.  Even Rosie/Sense is very poor in stock form.
Upgrading to an MCR Rom, would leave your phone looking the same but a hell of a lot faster.  Latest official Android kernels to iron out any little bugs, add features etc.

But thats my point, the phone is fast enough in stock form. Sure it could be faster if I put a different ROM on it, but everything I do is instant. Everything responds how I would expect. The only delays are on things I expect delays, like image processing, and these arent very long. Im not saying that changing the ROM is pointless, I am saying that unlike some phones which pretty much demand it be done for the phone to be useable, the desire is very very usable out of the box.

The only thing on this list I actually would care about is the option to remove the boot sound. But considering that I dont need to reboot the phone at all any more, its a non-issue.
