In honor of the new pants thread by Richard, what is your favorite fried food?

Mines mercurial, but often defaults to breaded and shallow fried okra.

Courgettes, parsnips, carrots and mooli all taste good either shallow or deep fried ... no need to use breadcrumbs or batter either.

TBH I prefer parsnip chips to potato ones :shock: (wash, then top and tail the parsnips, cut vertically into quarters and deep fry.)
