That you can edit a post directly by double-clicking on the text in the post (in situ as it were). Bloody clever  8-)

zpyder

yup. You get used to it fairly quickly. The biggest pain though that if you do an edit session this way, and the text box loses focus (you change tabs, or even miss click the "reason for edit" box when it comes up) it closes and loses all your changes, making you start again!

I never knew about this feature either, it looks handy though.

If you get a box up saying that just put in blah, or because, and press OK.

Mods and Admins can edit anyones post in situ

My reason for edit tends to be fasd

or gs

or

dsa

...etc

mmm all my posts from this morning have mysteriously disapeared, how strange.

Anyway, I said

I dont get an option of actually giving a reason, the bos just has an OK button which cancels the edit.

Completely the wrong forum, I didnt expect anyone to take the bait, but you never know, and not like anyone would admit it here if they tried ;)
