the best way to say  "written handing in task"   like a task in school

"Written Assessment"?

Or Coursework.

Both of the above can be and are things like essays etc which are tasks that require being handed in at the end of the day/deadline.

Im not quite sure what you mean ?

just any piece of written work, that is handed in to te teacher ?

work that you take home and then hand in the next day ? (homework)

or more like a test ?
