You feel a bit alienated hey!
I have a condition as some of you know called Viral fatigue syndrome although I know they call it something else these days but I can never remember. Basically as a teen being sick, nearly dying and all that my body had lots of different viral conditions all at the same time and it f'ed me up. I now have a lower immune system and I have to work twice as hard as everyone else at everything.
So all the stuff I do at the gym I am putting 150% into it a t least to get the same out as most other people.

I work hard to not catch a cold or flu because I am always worse than others with it. COVID-19 could do me a good one if I did get it.
I also have a weak lung from a collapsed lung incident so yeah, COVID wont be my friend.

Flu season here and my family had a cough and my wife was a bit down for a day. I have had fever for a couple of days and a nasty cough for a week. I have pulled every muscle in my body, tired and this cough is not going away.
But it is a cough so I been at home and when I have been out trying not to cough or even a little cough and being looked at funny - Not enjoyable.

Basically the world is a germaphobe (rightly so of course) and I wonder if that will stick from now on. People will be less tolerant of a co work with a cold in the office.

Clock'd 0Ne:
People shouldn't come into work sick anyway, its always been a stupid attitude. I don't think people are becoming germaphobes though, I see enough people that don't wear masks and/or think its a hoax or at least not a big deal. What's more likely is WFH becoming more commonplace, which sort of negates that need for germaphobic behaviour anyway.

Long covid is a variant specifically from covid-19 infection. I have fibromyalgia which seems related in some way, although male sufferers are rarer than women.

They encapsulated a variety of similar conditions under that term but there are a lot of varieties that share common things as listed and then the specific things as well. I would imagine that Long Covid would indeed fall under that.
I got tested, I had the flu and I have a serious chest infection as a result. Since I have this condition plus a scared up lung from when it collapsed it has been rough :(

Fibronyalgia is also a range of issues that have similar conditions but cannot be specifically tested for. They actually did a whole load of tests to rule out all the things they know about and then labelled it. Which isn't that helpful as mine appears to be genetic and still getting worse.

People can survive with only one lung, but look after yours. For that matter get the vaccine every year too, I do and even paid for it when I had to. When offered the covid vaccine I accepted instantly, second jab 6th June.
