Some of you may remember the bathroom pics of our bathroom my parents did up very nice a while back.

The plinth is a floating style wood effect one holding a very large round basin and cool tap and is very very expensive.

Recently though the vainer has started come away around the edges of it when of course it should not be, been a bit of a pain for the parents to get this sorted since a tap has its chrome coming off as well.

Basically a guy of the manafucturer has had to come out to see it for himself before the special bathroom place they got the stuff from will do anything.

So he comes over and looks at it first of all he says "to near the bath, oh To near the shower as well"

No water can even come close to it from the bath and the shower has a screen and the fact it is a plinth for a Sink where you use errr WATER and spalsh and the fact is is for a bathroom Water should not obviously be a problem, lol
They still waiting to here back from the stop but it does make you laugh the excuses no matter how stupid they are for not giving you money back or new items for cock ups people make, We all had a laugh at him (while he was there in fact, I made sure I laughed at him) when me and my mum pointed out that he was standing in a bathroom and the claims of water proof on its booklet being very strong and suitable for a wet room bathroom and has no mention of placement issues.
All it had was ventilation requirements which he asked before over the phone but the bathroom has a door, window and an electric extractor fan for the bathroom which is plenty.

I tell you anything to get out of sorting their mistakes companies etc or not to give you money.

Off topic a bit but what is the betting a load of insurance companies will not pay out some home or business owners who lost everything in the floods? And will come up with the most stupid reason why they will not pay out
