Yes but its still going to survive, everything else wont.

TBH Im expecting a mssive move to web based pay television distribution.

as bandwidth available to retail customers keeps improving well get more and more TV content via the net, view on demand subscription services, internet channels with advertising etc....

Reckon in a few years youll need a TV licence for a PC or mac with a network card/internet access - probably change the name of it to digital media licence or something - or otherwise the BBC will have to seriously downsize.

I already listen to the radio across the web more than live, TV will follow suit.

A few programmes like the sky at night, Panorama and questiontime are already available.

Dont forget topgear. Granted its not fantastic quality, but its sufficient to watch :)
