I saw a pair of shoes i want to buy on the site.

I try to order, and select the Express Delivery option, i know the cut off time is 3pm and i will have to wait til tommorow for it to be dispatched, fine.

But, it wont let me select the Express Delivery option, because its after 3pm.  :w00t:  :w00t:  Yes i know it wont be shipped today, im placing the order for tommorows cut off time.

I call them and explain. The CSR explains to me its easier for customers, and that i will have to wait until tommorow (after midnight) to place my order..

I find this highly shocking, many other stores have cut off times but they dont treat their customers as idiots, before the customer has even placed the order. xD

I think they must lose some business.

Just to top it off, i can order the same shoes via Ebay Schuh Store for the same price, and you guessed it, Express delivery option.   Without waiting til tommorow.

Look at their average clientele. They are stupid.

I have not bought shoes in a while, and then was in Reading or Southampton, down here shops are pretty sh*t, and i found Schuh store through google, never used them, at this rate i probably never will :P

I use routeone, kateskates and Stif :D
Probably different types of shoes though.

I tend to find that the business/first class options arrive the day after sending anyway, and generally theyre sent the same class as the "guaranteed next day" just dont have the rush priority on them to ensure the order is processed and sent out the same day!

The only time people should be using guaranteed next day is those times they absolutely must have it, like going to a wedding and finding the dog has chewed your shoes up the day before.

Normally its just an extra bit of profit on the till.

Actually shoe stores standard delivery is 3-5 working days and coincides with standard parcels service by Royal Mail whom they use. And Express delivery is Parcelforce 24, as far as i understand :D
