sold some old computer stuff on ebay... and everyone paid by paypal...

only problem is it's my work paypal account, linked to work card and bank account... so I can't get at it unless I spend it...

it'll look fishy if I transfer it into the company bank account then out again...


anyone up for me to paypal gift it to them, then they transfer it to bank, and then bank transfer to me ?
(I'll cover fee's etc.)


I tried add my bank account to the work paypal account to get it out, but they won't let let me because it's already linked to my personal paypal account (which is blocked since someone tried to rip me off and I told him to shove it)

fingers crossed someone does it for you mate, also sounds exceedingly dodgy, almost embezzlement taking money out of your works paypal, transferring it to an unknown 3rd party and back into your own personal account, isn't that what money laundering is?

I've go the most transparent route and explain if caught. If you get caught the other way around it looks dodgy as hell.

im guessing equipement has 100% depreciation on accounts?
Sell the stuff to yourself & then resell it on - You buy equipment from your company for £50
You then resell it for £75
Put £50 into company account. Youve saved tax on £25
As long as its a 'fair' price, mr Taxc**t wont look twice.

but... it was my own stuff I sold... had a clear out... didn't realise I had so much decent stuff worth anything
