Quote from: Davethat tap water has to be provided free seems to be a well known fact but does anyone actually know what law/act it is from or is it just one of those things that everyone says and everyone assumes to be true?

I know for a fact the you cannot refuse water, but a charge of 50p or so is not out of the question to pay for the service/use of the glass. If they dont want to pay 50p the toilets are always nearby. Very very few places actually charge though.

The reason I know, it was part of the exam when I got my personal licence when I was working in pubs.  8-)

shofty

Main reason is this month im doing some pretty intense training, so cant drink.

But tbh the more I think about it the less arsed I am, I only drink on the weekends anyway but I can still factor in a cheeky smoke  -)

I do know tomorrow I am going to at least one poncy place in town, so we shall see how that pans out :yarr:

This w/e wasnt even a big deal at all, went to a Wedding party then an Engagement party, drank orange at one and pineapple juice at the other.

Not finding it at all difficult so far, but bank holiday weekends soon :drama:
