Author Topic: Guide to XBMC Media Server on Windows Server 2008 R2 and HP Microserver  (Read 57274 times)

HI Thanks for a detailed post. I have installed server 2008 via USB Boot option. If any external hard drives are connected to server and its not rebooting. I guess its been looking for USB boot thing. If I Take out the External Hard drives, it boots correctly to Server 2008. Is there any option to change this? I need to connect the External hard drives all the time and may need to restart the machine occasionally.

Can you please explain any solution for this?

Thanks

What are you getting on screen? Is it just not that that the correct boot device is not selected in the bios, or that USB is selected before the actual boot device?

Change your bios boot order and remove the external/usb from automatic boot order.

HI Thanks to both of you, I changed the USB Setting to Low in BIOS and now its booting as usual and my External Hard disk is also connected no problem.
