What makes this very clever and something every browser will do is that it is dam clever but actually DUR simple and when you think about it obvious which makes it good. If you think why did not one do this before like multi touch that is what makes it great.

I can see this progressing further though, the software concept in terms of surveillance footage and traffic can go to another level since if you apply the process to every object as it does but then able to separate that object from others (probably need multiple cameras which you do in surveillance or traffic) and in a basically matrix style concept track or move only one car indervidual to everything else and able to change focus to another car if you click on that.
