Requires a Nokia Series 60 Phone, and a Bluetooth GPS reciever, but works great apparantly :)

Makes me want to get both if I can get them for cheaper than a standalone reciever. :D

bummer  .... yet another reason for me to get that N80......   ??

Im really thinking about it at the moment.... they seem like pretty swish phones :)

the bluetooth receivers arent expensive are they? I remember a phase when there was lots of eBay links flying around these forums and everyone was snapping them up for peanuts.

receiver could sit in a jersey pocket, and cook a kidney (ok so they dont output that much wattage... ) while you have the phone mounted on the handlebars somehow...

hmmmm kinda geeky  I would have to insure the phone though.. wouldnt want that to go under the wheels or suffer a fall

Well a 6600 would work.

any 60 series phone.

I dont care now anyway :) found a free java GPS suite that works with my phone, the maps arent as good as googlemaps but they are downloaded on the fly as opposed to saved beforehand, so it means youll always be covered whereever you are in the world.

Any phone that allows Java to utilise BLUETOOTH can work with it.

So K700 is out of it, but K750 onwards works.. including all the W series of phones if its sony ericsson. No idea if its nokias or anything else.
