I was stood in the corner of a chemistry practical today fiddling around with a piezo-electric fire lighter/sparker. Watching the sparks as I depressed the button, I wondered...is it possible, a la lightpainting to maybe whack the iso up on your camera, long or bulb exposure, macro focus, and capture "mini-lightning" on film from these lighter things?

So the mini-challenge is to get some arc-ing goodness using any lighter that has an electric spark/arc source of ignition

Scary thing is I bet we have one tucked away at uni somewhere...

had one at high school so i suspect the uni would have one
