Might be of interest to zpyder, found at Drurich Bay Northumberland. Looks like a newborn calf but what it was doing in the North Sea at this time of year.

Lol...I love how the sight of a dead animal makes you think of me :D

Though on a related note I did write the Receiver of Wrecks official guidance on the protocol for the removal of dead royal fish from English shores :| I did enjoy writing the bit which went along the lines of "things not to do" and "Blow it up" and "Set fire to it" were in there!

I was thinking more of your environmental job aspect than your blowing teddy bears up hobby.

Unfortunately, as with most people, I had no idea who to report it to so left it where it was.

zpyder

Report it to anyone pretty much ;) Local council, police, they *should* know that it is the receiver of wreck that deals with these things. Usually though when its a small one like that, from memory the protocol is just to remove it and inform the RoW later...I think there was something in there about storing it so that scientists can give it a once over first usually...They tend to only get involved when its too big to easily remove.
