Binary Shadow

Went to the farnborough airshow Saturday. Was a good day.

Nearly 2500 shots taken.

Canon 450D, sigma 70-200 F2.8 lens with 1.4x converter, +2/3 exposure, ISO400 shutter priority 1/1000 dropped to 1/800 when it clouded over and noticed the aperture blinking at me. I tried to let the shutter open for longer to stop getting the blades freezing in the shots, gave up as the lens doesnt have any stabilisation and the focus was getting pretty soft.

Just need to slim them down and upload them, pictures to follow.

Id really like a longer lens with stabilisation at this point, just need some cash.

Mongoose

well the one youve entered in the Transport comp is very nice, so I cant wait to see the rest!

Image stabilisation is great in these situations, but that Sigma 2.8 has to be a nice piece of glass.

They have had red arrow displays over my house a few times, it always impresses me, especially the sound.

Fantastic pictures, I love the prop plane turbulence you captured. 8-)
