Cool! Thanks for that.

By the way now Ive got my first SLR is it best just to play about with settings or does anyone have any recommended site guides?

No site recommendations, but I love John Hedgcoes New Manual of Photography (I think thats the right title, its close, Ill check later).

It doesnt deal with digital processing, but the workings of the SLR havent changed so everything it does cover is still relavent today.

I recommend the below site, start at page 1 though.

http://digital-photography-school.com/blog/

Alternatively, The Digital Photography Book, Volume 1 and Volume 2.  They are written by Scott Kelby I believe.

Well I managed to get Sundays guide on People and Portraits.  Its pretty good if you are starting out and has some good stuff on composition etc.  Although a bit basic for me and I have most of it covered in other books etc.

If anyone would like yesterdays as they may have missed it, let me know and I will post it to you.
