Got my manfrotto monopod today, its awesome, solid, well built, reckon it could hold me up as well as my cam heh

Think ill get a manfrotto tripod sometime as well

Ive heard nothing but good things about them, If i ever decide to get a decent tripod it will almost certainly be a monfrotto.

maybe, just listed most of my gear on ebay tbh, want to upgrade to an XXD body, looking to be a 50D but i may consider the cheaper 40D

Its a shame the Uni doesnt invest in the higher end kit. Itd be good to do some tests like the review sites do where they have the cameras set up in identical conditions to compare quality to.
