I've been quiet recently and looks like you lot have been as well, I'm just sitting editing some photos that I'll put on here/flickr shortly but in the mean time I just thought we'd see how many photos people actually take.  Not too bothered about the quality/quantity debate its just I usually find the more photos I take the more into my photography I am.  Case in point this year compared to the last 2 years, so far I've taken something like 1044 photos, last year I only took 779 and the year before that 659 photos in the entire year.  I wasn't into my photography as much mainly as I was doing my house up where as this year I've had the guy I sit next to at work buy a camera and I think that's spurred me on a bit to help him learn and get out more myself.  So after a quick count up on my PC I've got:

2009   659
2010   779
2011   1044

What are your photo stats like?

I think youve owned more xboxes than photos taken

I would have to agree on that point! 

Here's my stats, and most of those numbers are likely to be cut down quite a lot from actual shots taken! They are only the ones I want to keep.

Before 2007 I didn't have a digital camera (other than that on my phone) and a film SLR
2007 - 2007 (ok that's a bit freaky!)
2008 - 3079
2009 - 2757
2010 - 3611
2011 - 292 (I have quite a few I haven't put in my main library yet, so maybe another 400?)

well I don't know my stats by year and can't quite be bothered to figure them out, but I noticed 2 weeks ago that my K10D will shortly go "round the clock" for the second time, it's just passed 18500 and the image counter only goes up to 10000.

Going on this so far I think I need to get out more, especially if I'm thinking of getting myself a D7000 later in the year!

I have no idea, as I have to delete a lot of the ones I take, but I'd definitely say I take more the more I get into it, so a progressive increase in photos from 2006 or so.

The last 18 months have been really quite heavy as well as I've probably doubled my photographic activity.
