British Wildlife Photography Awards (BWPA) closing date for entries is the 12th of May.
Costs £ to enter, is anyone going to?
I'm going to give it a shot, last year I'd intended on entering loads of competitions but never got round to it. This year I've already entered 2, BWPA will be a 3rd, and I'll probably enter the Dorset County Show if I can actually attend it this year.
Also, does anyone know of any other competitions going on?

I don't do enough wildlife to enter a specific wildlife competition but good luck to you if you do.
The only other one I know of is the Country File competition which will be due to start again soon I think. Apart from that I don't know any others but I was on a site the other day that listed a few, it might have been american however. I'll see if I can remember what it was and I'll chuck a link up.

Definitely sounds like something for you and Binary Shadow to get stuck into, I wouldn't be surprised if one of you could come up with a winning entry.

I'd be surprised if I did tbh. I went through my flickr account yesterday and pulled out about 80 shots that were maybe candidates. Then looked at the past winning entries, and am now thinking maybe 2-3 are of a similar caliber but not as good ><

Thing is you don't know what's going to capture the judges eye till you try!
That sounds far too positive for me lol
