lets do it!

Everyone posts a picture they want to put forward and we vote on it... It has to be by a TEK forumista and Snellgrove isnt allowed to join in* ;)

The winner gets the grand title of TEK Forumistas Photographer Of The Month[/b]... its more interesting than member of the month and itll stir the creative talents of us all and hopefully produce some cracking pictures....

*joke.

Sara

Sounds good! Can I request that the picture is taken within a given month too?

Are we doing it with monthly themes??? or just any photos?

Need some rules too! :) like no submitting old photos. :)

yep, excellent, i think it should be any photo in a given month... and as M3TA said, no oldies....  i think it should be standard film AND digital too.... no rules on what time of camera etc.

Badabing

also, if its from a given month, we can have a gallery of all the winners from each month... hey, theres an idea for a callendar! ;)

M3ta7h3ad

any camera is fair game :) SOUNDS good :D

Topics? as its difficult to judge maybe a picture of a child crying, against a picture of a landscape. Meaning content can sometimes influence decisions as opposed to just being a good photograph :)

If the task to take a piccie of a landscape.. we all take piccies of a landscape, if the task is to take piccies of crying kids, we all take piccies of crying kids :D lol that sort of thing.

Though the other comp I used to take part in used to have tasks along the lines of

"yellow" "reflections" "water" "good" "evil" "bad"

BUT, It would be difficult for a group to all take pictures of landscapes if 30 lived in innercity Manchester, 20 lived in Outer London and 3 lived in some epic looking town in Sweden or Canada... hmmm

Sweenster

landscape doesnt have to be mountains and lakes...

it can be inner city, just look at the work of lowry, his landscapes are amazing.

you just need to capture it correctly

that is what photography is

yes, i know, i wasnt nesecarilly saying that, but its the content that can sometimes sway the result... i am talking about a completely level playing field, but it is all subjective.... :)
