Looking for a tripod + ball head that can take my 50D with battery grip and 150-500mm sigma lens (a fair weight, maybe 3Kg+)
Needs to be nice and tall so i can stand up and use it (im 6'4") and ideally not weighing tons

So far im looking at

Can anyone recommend anything better without breaking the bank?

Unfortuantely I don't have much experience buying full size tripods as I got my Manfrotto 144b 2nd hand from a teacher in my last job for £10 so struck it lucky there!

It doesn't look a bad selection you've got there, the tripod itself might be a touch short though, if your 6'4" then with the centre column your talking 1.6m, without only 1.3m so its fairly short but I presume that going any higher will probably increase the cost quite a bit.
