RIP canon ixus i

My little compact has finally given up after probably 6+ years of service

Screen wont come on at all



Having to get the 50D out for even the smallest snap now.. that sucks.

Yeah mine gave up after 7 years

I've bearly used my compact in ages, my fiancee has a better one so if photos are required I either take my SLR or borrow hers.

The only time I used it recently was on a boat trip we took while on holiday the year before last. Didn't want to risk either of the good cameras so we took my old Panasonic (which to be fair to it is still a good little camera, just let down by 6 year old sensor tech).
