can;t remember who it was, but I remember a photo of a wolf jumping over a gate being posted here before ?

hell of a photo... got lots of awards etc....

but I heard on the radio the other day that its been banned from a competition it was about to win for wildlife photos because.... its a tame wolf (from a zoo).... someone hired it and made it jump back and forth over the fence while they guy took photos of it !

thought it might be of interest to some of the photography geeks here :o

Binary Shadow

Was quite random, heard about it on the radio talking about identifying marks on the wolf and sh*t trying to work out if it was the same as the supermodel wolf... DNA test surely?
"Within your 'purview'? Where do you think you are, some f**king regency costume drama? This is a government department, not some f**king Jane f**king Austen novel!"

Cheule

How can you test the DNA of the wolf in the photo?

Itd suck royally for the photographer if it is actually real, though Im guessing theres more to the investigation than the article says. I mean, ok the wolf has several identifying marks that are the same as a certain tame one available for hire, but at the same time humans have lookalikes too...

according to the radio.... the guy who owns the zoo where the wolf lives confirmed its the same wolf, and the photographa admited it too :o

This apparently falls foul of the wildlife competitions rule but I still think the photo deserves recognition. Its an amazing shot regardless of whether its staged or not. The clarity and lighting of the image are stunning.
