Porsche Cayenne is almost certainly going to be the closest contender and actually they review really well I think. You definitely should try some out.

Plus you need a prestige marque to park outside your mansion now  :P

I head X5s are a bit sh*t?

you can still get rid of the DPF, just can't be obvious you've done it, so cut and welt the top of it you can;t see from underneath etc.

maybe I should test drive a few things :-o

I thought there'd be some obvious range rover contender but can;t see anything around at all, you'd think some of the other manufactures would come after the range rover marker share

the way Tata have messed up jaguar they can;t be much competition?

Jag don't do a SUV/4x4 do they, so if you want more luxury maybe something like a Porsche Cayenne?

BMW X5 would be a solid contender though probably not as nice on trim level, but I had an X3 and it was great, went like stink too after I removed the DPF (couldn't get away with that now obviously) and remapped it. Also in the same bracket I'd put Audi Q7/Mercedes-Benz GLE.

Then Volvo XC90, though I suspect it won't have the trim/comfort level you're after.

I don't think so, nothing about the boards/posts/permissions should have changed at all.

But yeah, I spent a few hours knocking up the colour scheme and I think it's good enough!

I've got a range rover sport, never really fancied one but I hurt my back and the upright sitting position was a big help, asked a mechanic mate about his in passing and he was selling it so I bought it.

it's getting a bit rough now, some twat tried to overtake and cut me up at a merge point and I 'accidentally' pit stop manoeuvred him then shoved him along the road sideways

that was a year ago... surprisingly little damage, bashed alloy, cracked bumper, lost a bit of trim from around the fog light

got an insurance pay out from it, can;t be bothered to fix it, it has a bunch of little niggles not worth fixing, key doesn't always work, radio sometimes goes off, radio sometimes plays static at 100% volume and won't stop till you pull over turn it off and lock the doors

paid £4500 having a suspension leak fixed 2 is years ago and probably shouldn't have bothered, don;t want to spend anything else on it

so... what should I replace it with?  fancy something with similar seating position
checking statistics range rovers are bottom of every metric for reliability

lexus comes out on top for reliability but they all look a bit naff inside?

think I got used to the comfort/trim level of the jag then range rover

I need to be able to tow stuff somethings... mostly if I need to go rescue a broken down van

So you'll probably notice I've upgraded the forums - wasn't fibbing this time - it was a lot easier than I thought it would be, only a few things not quite right  :nana:

'Likes' count has been lost, but there's a new built-in likes system that's probably better anyway.

I haven't bothered to reinstall Tapatalk as I don't know if it still works and the new theme is actually mobile friendly.
