Mate of mine just got a Nismo one - i was disappointed with the performance but the handling and steering is spot on. Brakes could have a bit more feel to them as well but there is plenty of bite.

Fuel economy is pish, and finish on the earlier ones we went to inside was ghastly.

If I was you Id wait until a few more of the newer ones get sold so dealers wth second hand ones drop the prices a bit more.

For 18k Id buy a skyline - better as a daily driver - room in the back for kid(s), big boot, and monster grip.

How so lacking in performance ? 0-60 in under 6 secs and 155 top..

Realise the power delivery is very different to a high revving or turbo car - is it a subjective feeling ?

Yes. You dont get the surge of torque that you do on a blown motor, its much more linear - it isnt even like an old school 16 valver with a definitive powerband

hmm you could get a nice C70 convetible?

T5 model, get a bit of an older one and then get it chipped for under 500 quid and youve got yourself a 300BHP+ car. 0-60 I think would be in the 6second range then.

Or this?!

Youre the person whod put a supercharger onto the Lotus carltons 3.6 straight 6 to give it a little more HP I think ;)

But a 3 second 0-60 time would be insane on a everyday driver, itd use to much fuel I think. With a C70, you can fit 4 people in the car, have open top enjoyment and have a comfortable ride.

you arent challed Shazza, and you arent good enough at a cut and colour to own a TT.

However an A5 perhaps?  3.0L TD, 39MPG and 5.7s 0-60?
