Now I wont say I am a fooltball fan some of you know I am not and I dont know the ins and outs of the game and I only half watched (well 20 mins of the first half) of the footbal (England V Greece)

EU champs (but i gather its not the same side as they used to be)

Now first off seems good, but I wanted to ask is it not shaves of sven about considering there were no goals in the second half?
How did they play?
Is this the right step?

To me it doesnt mean anything if they cant reproduce the form at a major tournament. Only then we will see how they will handle the pressure and expectations.

I only saw the first half.  Greece were far from the form that took them to the Euro finals to be fair.  They are an aging team and struggled to keep up with the fast pace of the game that England played, one that has been lacking.   Its a positive start, one they needed to get away from the negativity of the world cup.

It worked pretty well in midfield, people were in their normal comfortable club roles with Hargreaves making himself arguably a first on the team sheet player.

Greece were alot better in the 2nd half.  They had a number of really good chances.  Two off the line clearances by Ashley Cole and a good save by Kirkland meant a clean sheet.
