“Veterinary Courier” Bet they have that classed under the “white van driver” category, think you got off lightly with just an extra 40 quid if that is the case! lol
Some jobs are considered higher risk than others and you can end up paying a lot more, going back a good few years, when my brother in law left the army and went to work fulltime as a football coach his insurance jumped well over 200 quid, any job that is under the banner of “professional football” means mega expensive insurance, journalists and broadcasters are also considered very high risk and really get hammered by all accounts.
My insurance is due at the end of next month so just had a look on confused.com and best quote last year with them was £304.18, this year £376.96! ...That is for a 41 year old on a 1.3 KA, with 5 years NCB and no points! (Will have to have a look on comparethemarket later.) I could get insured on a Mini Cooper or Suzuki Swift Sports for about 50 quid more!
