wtf are they?

I seen a couple this week, normally a lane that runs up the left towards a roundabout but theyre gravel & come to a dead end.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

for brake failures, just turn into them and you stop.  :D

there mostly for big vans / lorries that aint going to stop in time :o

the ground is usually soft so the front wheels sink in and you slow down fast :D

havnt had to use one yet ! (touch wood!)

My dad used one yonks ago... needed to be towed out that one had soft sand. Vans tyres just sank straight into it.

lol :D to be honest.. its a "oh sh*t my brakes dont work and someones shoved a bloody 3 piece suite in the damn escape lane" lane.

Wouldnt that just make it a ramp to jump over the obstacle? Bit drastic, but heck if your brakes fail, why not?
