Having removed plenty of cotters on old bikes, I was impressed. Usually I use the hammer of Thor with gritted teeth.  :lol:

Max, you need to machine a slanted groove in the bottom, into which you can install an angled blade, the resulting assembly which then can be employed in removing long smooth ribbons of cellulose-like material from a carefully chosen bough.... :twisted:
