im not overly bothered about the national side - id be happy to see them win, i wouldnt cry if they didnt, but i reckon they could sneak it today and maybe get to the final. Theyre hardly a brilliant side, tactially or techincally, but neither were Greece in Euro 2004...  :!:

Not with an Argie ref by the looks of things.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

England down to 10 players after Rooney stamps on someones bits...

Ronaldo always pisses me off, whether its playing EPL or an International he is a whining like prick who needs a good hard slap.

I hope he gets loads of sh*t when he is back on UK soil.

No red card if he had held his temper and not told the referee off.

Then again I think its probably more to do with England being wholesale crap at everything they do.

Outclassed, out-gunned and out of the World Cup...

Not true and you know it, they were good enough until they had to do the penalties.

Portugal.

Playing with a man down isnt the huge hardship some claim it to be, Ive seen it open up the field and tighten up the team more often than creating much of an empty spot on the field.

Portugal took more shots on goal and had more posession time AND they had a better keeper.

England put a wild man onto the pitch, whose temper is legendary. Red Card? No sympathies here.

They played fine, but not as good as Portugal, its the score in the end that counts.

The English fans, at least from what they showed here, were disgusting. At least the white and red greasepaint went well with their jiggly angry complexions.

TBH the English manager did make some bad decisions and his overall performance was rubbish. The players had to carry him all the way  :P

Har, thats one way of putting it.

What would have made the game a little better would have been allowing a fourth substitution when you go into overtime. Both sides were looking pretty rough near the end.
