actually... they don;t need much training... better scores on the theory/presception test (which most of them probably didnt have to do anyway... before there time
)
then a few lessens in a tanker... and a test, which is just an HGV one test but you have to be more careful / break a bit different (pretending you have a 1/2 full tank on the back sloshing around!)
and... they defenatly dont do 60 hours a week... youre not allowed to drive that many hours week after week.... most class 1 (artic) drivers I know only do 45hours and thats there limit !
(its pretty complicated stuff tho, limited working hours in between driving, allowed to do more hours if you have have a few days off before/after, changes depending on how often you have breaks, how far you drive, and what you do in your breaks!)
