they are nice but im never a fan of aftermarket wheels, isnt there any better Mazda ones you can get?

Not from what Ive seen, its all minilites or alloys from mk2/mk3 Mazdas which seem to be aftermarkets. A lot of folks seem to go for BBS rims. I really like those Koseis though, and they are Japanese.

They are alright, Im not so sure Id want to move from 14"s to 16"s though. They dont look half as nice either.

I can get those four of those Kosei rims with Eagle F1s for around £500.

I think they look OK too; are you going for anthracite or silver finish? What tyre size would you end up on then?

I would end up on 195/50/15 - much better I gather... theres a bit of leeway on the width anyway I think. It might even be 215/45/15

Id probably go with silver, as if I do ever decide to go for a respray when Ive got a bit spare it will be dark, and silver will look better, and it looks good now anyway.

Hmm Im struggling over the colour now, this pic makes the anthracites look very nice:

That is the classic Golf GTi Mk2 tyre size  :D Fond memories of Bridgestone RE71s...
You really do have to have the right car/colour for the anthracite wheels - though imho all Impreetzas look better with them.

I dont know if I need to or where I should look to obtaining locking wheel nuts. I hear cheap ones are pointless, but I wouldnt even know what size Id need... Anyone got any advice? :?

Get some good ones, with a rotating collar.

My mate had some cheapies and lost the key.  I was able to remove the nut with a lump hammer and a 19mm socket.
