Whos looking forward to Sunday, then?

It is pretty appaling, especially considering Germany dont really consider it a grudge match and have considerable respect for England.

It just seems that that respect is in no way reciprocated and I feel thats a great shame.

Do you think England will now field a younger team?

Google says Ghana has the youngest squad, Germany 3rd youngest.

England had the oldest with a avg. age of 28.7, just ahead of Brazil.

Italy, France, England, Brazil all have or will have issues of players now/next few years.

I think spain will have a problem too, Xavi is 30 now, Iniesta is like 27, Villa is also around 27. In fact I think the bulk of their midfield bar busquets (who I dont think is that good) and fabregas will be getting old for the next world cup

Golden generation my nuts for England tbh - all bottlers.

Painful to say, but fair play to the germans, convincing winners on the night.

Then there was the booing of the German National Anthem.  England fans need to take a look at themselves.  The whole world was watching.  Disgraceful.  :disappointed:

Agreed. Despite this though I still live in hope that one day England can compete against Germany without lagered up chavs and other assorted neanderthals making war references.

Would be interesting to know if the British Troops booed the Germans during the christmas truce nearly 100 years ago now :disappointed:
