 :ptu:

My le cheap Canon Pixma 130 bit it on Friday, refusing to not jam, so I called, they answered immediately, got to talk to what sounded like an American college student, he walked me through 3 minutes of diagnostics, then heard the paper jam over the phone, and said, "well send you a new one 2nd day delivery.

It just arrived, and lo and behold, its the PIXMA 450, still inexpensive, but 50% more dear than the original. Prints stunning photies for an all in one.

I just have to pack up the old one to return with their postage paid label.

Well, the thing doesnt work under *nix either, but that didnt stop me from getting it. Mainly use it to copy, tbh, print photies with "Pict Bridge" and boot into windows weekly with the odd print or scan.

I cant argue with a $99 3:1, that makes pretty pictures, even if it aint got *nix drivers. :P

Nah, it works great, just installed too much crap. I managed to trim it down to 200mb of "drivers".

I often post random things on craigslist, as its sort of a little groovy community. I moved a few bits from my bike parts bin and a bike this week. Always interesting folks to do business with, and its not Ebay. :gag:

TITSUP!! :w00t:

6 days, then it just gave up the ghost. Im getting another one in the mail via warranty. Thats number FOUR that Ive had warrantied so far. I started with a sh*tty little Pixma printer, and have worked the system up to a decent 3:1.  In the end, I get to keep the carts from this one for use in the new. Thats $40 at least.

This last ones been great. I think it was a random breakage in the first place and they kept sending me "remanufactured" stuff thats sometimes a bit dodgy. I use the scanner, copier, and print functions almost daily plus it can talk directly to my camera if I dont feel like fussing with the computer. :ptu:
